Opinions needed, "Fender" TL-52

A couple of weeks ago, a guy going by the username of asphalt on soft was advertising out for a TL-52. The original post can be found here

What I got was definitely not what I expected:

<-- Truss rod adjustment

<-- Headstock curve

<-- Pickguard

<-- Headstock lettering and string tree

So, do you guys think that it's fake? Do let me know if you want any additional pictures.

I guess you have a point, it's definitely a fake, even that guy refuses to answer my calls now.

Does it have serial number? Firstly check the serial. The bridge and the saddles are very very dubious for a Fender MIJ.

I believe you should have viewed the guitar before buying it right? Didnt you check it through?

Yes it does, but the serial number is too large to be authentic.
I did, however I didn't do my research properly on the unit.

Try contacting the seller. If this is a fake and different from what he posted, you may wanna contact the authorities about this. Cus he posted saying that the "Fender Tele" as authentic. Best bring it down to a guitar tech to verify. If its a fake, contact the authorities about him.

Yup thanks a lot for the input guys.
@cobb, Beez has pointed out to me all the differences from an actual MIJ. To his eyes, it was an instant fake.

Really need to do more research before I get into these impulsive buys.

it's a scam. the most you can do is to report to the police, perhaps they can aid in tracking him down. what a mofo

look at the differences in the photos. the ones he posted are of the real MIJ fender. take some screenshots bro

AFAIK it's not a TL-52. However, it could be another model. The jack cup is a dead give away.

Pictures of the serial number and the entire guitar would be more helpful.

The photos on the original ad were pulled off from a bunch of different guitar websites. In fact, all of his photos from all off his ads are not his, and were taken off other sites!
