OM:: Sway (acoustic and light dance rendition)

very nice vocal on a very nice song...
why don't u try doing the studio version with electric guitars and real drums etc. if u have the time?
i find the accoustic guitars u did were too "modest" for your style

I presume your friend is singing in this recording. It's sounds good! I believe with a little more pratice, she will sound more articulated and natural.

haha yeah nice rendition of sway. wasnt expecting the bic runga version but anyway i personally felt the harmony during the chorus didnt blend well. but yah still nice. liked the acoustic version more. heh.

yea, the harmony was tricky, coz the "know" and "go" in the choruses were mini trills. i couldn't think of a decent harmony so i added a counter melody. guess it didn't work exactly well.

heh. my friend likes the acoustic one better too. guess she wanted it clean.

cool... :D
hope u would retain or try to sound close to the original drum tone...
i particularly in favour of that, hmm... and maybe the guitar tone also...

oops then it won't be of much diff from the original ver

actually i once programmed the drums of sway for a client. it's not really close to the original, but i used DW snare and Kcustom hats. so they're actually better. HA.

yeaup, too close = no originality.
