OM: Some Fusion Impro - Sleepless

Just some Improvisation done on the spot making some music while waiting for my sleeping pill to kick in ... hence the name done in my most difficult key to play in ,,, F#

Need to improve ... please advise

Very nice, but i would prefer to listen to it played on a piano instead. its juz a personal preference. nevertheless, nice stuff u've played!

nice work! couldn't help being reminded of shakatak and casiopea. imo, the rhodes would still be better than a piano on a piece like this.

did u actually play this in F#? amazing!

just realized that my playing feels very different when I m playing in a key I m not used to ... need to work on it for constitency. ... first time got it smooth when playing in F# (maybe the sleeping pills he he he ) .. must practise more

Never Heard about shakatak (should check them out) before but heard 1 song from casiopea (and that they are realy good). Any comment on the phrasing?

wow, on the spot improvisation! i wish i could ad-lib like dat. it had an upbeat, carefree, walking aimlessly feel, quite suitable for your title 'sleepless'. i like the theme which was kept throughout, wasn't too much as to overwhelm. minor glitches in chord was evident around the midsection and the ending, but hey, you were waiting for your sleeping pill to kick in! :smt095
towards the finale, it sounded like you had to finish the piece soon, within those couple of bars, thus marring a little the carefree playful tempo.
overall, it's got a nice catchy tune, not intrusive, and something i would enjoy hearing over and over again, on my desktop, or even in a store as background music!
