I've been reading too many CNA scrollers on the middle east, listening a lot of Rainbow and Deep Purple CDs dugged out lately. After watching Kingdom of Heaven, here's a short something i put together on all these things. :?

It'll be more power if it had dhalif's solos and audio's smooth rhythm guitars. anyway i've put up a bare bones track 'Kingdom of Sand II' if u guys wanna have some fun. i'm really rusty on guitars.

the track's at 4/4 tempo 130 and goes to 145 at bar 41

For the strings, there's a couple of free soundfonts that really sounds good.
One is at http://oui.com.br/n/download.php?list.2

also, there's a free collection of soundfonts at http://www.hammersound.net

If you want to create your own drum parts, check out nskit at
http://www.naturalstudio.co.uk/ns_kit.html
they have a nearly complete drum kit as a soundfont and it sounds 'live'. just check out the demos. I mainly used this kit for my drum tracks.

btw, try out Sony Acid to do loop editing. You can use sampled drum sounds like at http://meanbeat.cjb.net/
