We recorded our jamming session couple of weeks back. We're only formed recently and in general still considered quite newbie. So please give it a listen and give some valuable feedback.

Pardon the poor audio quality, we record the jam session direct into a iRiver.

We tried recording at fourtones before, but it's too loud and the room is big. I think a typical MP3 player's mic can't take that level. Hmm....

For the clips you are hearing, we recorded at low volume in a hdb flat.

Basically:
Vocalist use a karaoke mic into hifi
Guitarist and bassist use 10watts pratice amps
Keyboardist play thru computer speakers
Drummer uses brushsticks on some tracks...

And perhaps the smaller venue? Thus the recording turns out quite ok? I'm not sure of the logic behind this... but it works... I guess the placement of the player also makes a difference?

Maybe someone with more knowledge can help explain... :?:

haha.. the way not to distort the recording is to lower down everything lor..wrap it in some cloth put inside some box and pray it doesnt distort lol! XD..

Woohooo Tokyo Jihen! Good stuff man. Can be a littler tighter in the playing, but those are really tough songs to pull off. It's quite a good effort already. Keep it going LEMONed_Z!
