OM Funk: Hello (GT-8) and Goodbye (GT-6)

So a week ago I got the GT-8 (Hello) and laid to rest (Goodbye) the GT-6.

I'm pretty impressed with the new tones the 8 has to offer. The preset patches in my opinion are crafted more purposefully, and I like the fact that the amp sims bring in a range of warm, creamy tones - the sample I used for this track models a vintage Mesa Boogie Rectifier.

This tone is addictive for me, not to say the least. It not overly aggressive, very modest on on gain and overdrive, borders on the high mids and is slick enough to pull off extended sweeps, legato and maintain note clarity on sixteenth-note passages.
