Hey guys,
Finally finished this funny little piece... I wanted to emulate the kind of feeling you get when you are all happy, only to discover something has gone terribly wrong and you freak out. In a humorous way lah. :wink:

Haha! Nice! I got a funny story to make out of this.
I imagine a couple walking in the park. Then they suddenly saw a cockroach, then they start running about. (the sweeping part) . then the guy takes out a huge glass bottle, at the icepick-sounding sliding part, then he chases the roach (the chugging riff part) with the bottle. LOL . Then the cockroach dies and the happy theme resumes towards the end.

its very humourous stuff! its got that Zappa/Mike Keneally/MIRV humour vibe going on... i'm totally floored! if someone played me this without me knowing the player, i'll be guessing it could be Mike Keneally or very early Vai stuff! great, great, great!!!

great techniques and chops... hmm

you might want to cut down on the harmonic melody/motif going on since it does kill the surprise element after a bit too much repetition. a lil dynamics (maybe muted motif) thrown somewhere would make it less repetitive.

there's also a hint of "too many notes". certain parts i'm not exactly sure what is exactly being emphasized. more space around would be nice.

Yeah captures the "Freak Out" mood very well, since it's so weird out.

i didn't actually like the background rhythm for some reason. :|

Yup.. the sweeps are in 1234 fingers... or whatever is most comfortable for you... the last 2 sweeps are A shape barre chords, just flatten all your fingers.

I'll tab maybe tonight.

And yeah... haha... easter egg... some techno song although the 2nd chord is wrong.
