Anything after the tpjc point, excluding tpjc of course, should be okay. Cjc, Mjc, Sajc etc. Most of the academically smart yet fun sociable people i know are from VJC or SAJC.
I was from tpjc myself. The people were alright, the culture was fine too. But the way the school was run made it unbearable. And there's no study culture at all too, so you have to be an independent learner, although the school tends to restrict that too these days..

Started before the o levels.
"good luck!" "all the best!" for ppl taking papers the next day
during the day itself, ppl start complaining abt the paper. Or say its very easy.
then it was after o levels when everyone was on break.
Then o levels results.
then "How are ur results!"
Then "jc or poly???"

No problems being an independent learner. In fact i might even do better in such an environment as there isnt tat much pressure on me and ppl forcing me to do this n tat....
Regardless,i think mj will be first choice,followed by tj (near impossible to get in with my score bt to help with appeal via cca?). Third,SA. Fourth,NY.
Btw my L1R5 is 9 nett,n mj cut off is 10 which should be quite safe.Lets hope i adapt to the mugging life there well!

Yeah.. orientations are usually boring. I guess for poly students, it would be "what to do during these 2 months!" Lol.

Don't worry, just work hard now. You've wasted one year (Well, can't be helped), but if you do well, you will be able to pick a good course when you go to the U. At least you've learned a lesson right?? Good luck
