Not too sure what to classify this as

So you guys knew that I posted asking about pick ups. Soon after which 2 PMs were sent to me by a user called Linkin Park. The message as below:
"Why waste extra money buying pickups from shops when you can buy used pickups from me? I have a wide range. http://www.soft.com.sg/classified/ac...ss-2c-ehx.html"

This was sent twice, after which today he sent me this:
"So how? Why no reply?"

And I replied with:
"I thought you were spamming ads. Didn't think you were a real person, my bad. I am still deciding what pickups to get. Thanks for the offer though."

This was his response after that, which I didn't bother to reply.
"Spamming ads? Not a real person? Looks like you have no brains "

Sorry, what? I don't think that response was necessary.
