Not another "delay pedal dilemma" thread

Well yeah, I'm stucked between 3 choices. EHX deluxe memory man(old version), Boss DM-2 and Malekko 616.

Yup. Don't ask me where I could get it, and the price of each pedal doesn't matter. Don't recommend me to get a digital delay, cus I already have a Nova Repeater, just need an analog delay for the warm repeats, the different taste, the crazy self-oscillation and well, the mojo. so help me decide.

I'm not sure if this will help, buy maybe you'd want to check out the Earthquaker Transport Disaster delay as well. It's got non of the issues of the EHX, true bypass compared to the DM-2, and it has footswitcheable modulation and tone control(IMHO, all delays should have this feature).

But among your initial choices, the malekko seems to be the best.

i'm actually quite worried with the issues with ehx, but i have only known 1 issue which is the clock-noise, what other issues are there? as for the dm2, i have no problem with the colouring of tone, or rather i could have it in my loop. the malekko seems a fine choice but i need more feedback, really really stuck man. and yeah will check out the earthquaker devices. thanks bro
