Nitro spray

i guess all solids have particle movements and vibrations right. since its a new coat it might not be as "ONE" with the wood molecules in the guitar which will allow smooth transition of sound and vibration of particles.

so yeah spraying a new coat may affect the sound quality to a small extent, depends also if ur spraying over a old coat.

Hmm but unlike hollow bodies I know solid bodies have acoustic tone but hardly any volume to speak of until amplified so the pickups should be more or less everything..? Taking in consideration I'm going to be working on a 80's LP not the new chambered bodied crap.

it all plays a part in affecting the sound. i suggest stripping the previous coat and spraying on the nitro paint, as the two coats might just act as barriers between each other for sound travel
