Newbie with pedals...

I have a question about my Line 6 Uber metal that I bought 2nd hand... I used typical 9V Eveready Super heavy duty batteries and it died in at most 10 minutes for each battery!

The pedal works perfectly, so I'm thinking there can't be anything wrong with the pedal itself. But is there a specific battery you guys use for your pedals?

And where and at how much can I buy a 9V adaptor (just for one pedal)?

10 minutes seems abit too fast...do you leave your cables plugged in to your pedal over night and then when you start playing it only lasts for 10 minutes before it dies?

no what we mean is, do u keep your cables plugged in to the pedal when u dont play it?...

Its normal for ubermetal to suck the batteries dry in like 3-4hrs. 10 mins abit unusual. Just get an adapter and ur set, make sure its grounded 1 or u will get hum.

Could be prob wif e battries,as in different types... I bought mine too and e guy gave me a Roland 9v lasted for like only I think half an hour?
"Metal" pedals + 9volts = Dont work out together
Get an adaptor and you can play your heart out..
Cheers! =)
