Newbie Electric guitar

Hi guys, need some advice here. I got a acoustic guitar at home but dont like playing it becoz im more of a metal rock guy. So I was thinking of getting a electric to see if it will give me the motivation of learning and playing the guitar. I'm a huge metallica fan so the first guitar i went to look at was esp KH series. I ended up with this choices. Not knowing there is still stock for LTD OUIJA!!

Or should i go for the ouija?? coz im afraid i give up at least the ouija is sellable as its a ltd edition run for 2009....while the other 2 are just normal....what are ur says.....and i was thinking if i actually did get the 25/330 i would change the humbuckers in future if i was able to play well....thanks for all inputs!!

Why not just go for a normal LTD? I think they're great guitars for beginners and they're priced very well too.

hi i just went to try charvel woah was i shocked! for 800+ i get mahogany body neck thru, floyd rose, emg81/60 pickups and jackson famous composite radius frets! upon trying its better than ltd with the inhouse pickups and definitely way cheaper than a kh-602/ouija....now need consider signature guitar because i love metallica or cost efficient

Get the charvel.
1) you said so yourself, it's the better guitar
2)as you develop your skills you'll be playing other stuff besides Metallica
3) do a net search on the care and use of a Floyd rose trek before making the purchase.

no need to be shocked there are many guitars these days offering good value for money but much overlooked. certainly, the Charvel Desolation models are some of them, people cast aside these guitars because they are made in China. ditt0 the UNO/ Blade brand name.

also, if you don't whammy, please don't invest in one, especially those locking, dual action models (eg: Floyd Rose).

Agreed. Floyd Roses are really difficult to handle and change strings, judging from my friend's experience. It might put you off guitar if you are just starting. Maybe you could start with a string through, stoptail bridge or at most floating trem

hmm guys thanks for the info. pretty much decided that i wanna whammy haha...and after going to try some simple chords on the guitars ive decided i wan a seymor duncan jb/59 setup its just more creative than the boring emg....so now i have shifted to want a jackson sl2 pro which has wat i want
1.no bassbody
2.neck thru
3. inline tuner
4. floyd rose
5.mij
...any comments or altenatives? and as for amp now im totally in love with the blackstar ht-1r combo though a frend recommended me to get a multieffects pedal....if i do i should get another amp right? something cleaner since i would not use its effects on the amp

It seems you know exactly what you want in an electric guitar. Which is good as you'll be less likely to be disappointed that way.

You can still run a multieffects through that amp. Just switch off the amp and cabinet modelling on the effects unit that you are using and you should be good. You can try boss me series 25,50 or 70. Another good alternative is line6 m series 5, 9,13. The new zoom g3, g5 should be great as well.

Ok so next thing i need is amp and pedals...im considering getting multi effects or a mesa boogie throttle box or wampler triple wreck....if this is the case is my choice of blackstar ht-1r combo still good?

i have a pod x3 live, its a good multi effects unit. it needs a lot of tweaking and experimenting, but many ppl online have done patches that sound really good so you can take it from there.

I have watched many videos of the blackstar and I do think it sounds good.
