New TC Electronic toneprint app

Has anyone checked out the new toneprint app from TC Electronic? Simply amazing! It allows you to change the toneprint loaded on your pedal using the app, with just your iPhone, guitar pickup and pedal. You can choose from the whole range of toneprints from the app, and no internet connection or additional wiring needed!

Glad I still have my flashback and shaker vibrato. Cant wait to try it later

Yup, only their toneprint pedals of course..

lol, the high pitched sound it makes actually hurts my ears..

Haha yeah its kinda annoying, you probably have to mute your amplifier first.. I really wonder how it works.. They must already have loaded all the toneprints in the pedal?

The marketing speak suggests that the Toneprints are in the app and "beamed over" to the pickup, but most likely the actual algorithms are already loaded with the pedal's firmware, and the encoded sound just contains some parameters.

Pretty gimmicky, but might be more convenient than loading Toneprints via USB for some people.

Now you just need some nerds to decode the sounds and create an app to configure custom Toneprints.
