WTS: VINTAGE Yamaha FG-375
if youre looking for an acoustic and is more inclined with the sound than its looks, then this guitar is for you.
earliest Taiwan production, 1979.
Solid spruce top,
rosewood back and sides,
14-fret mahogany neck,
cream-bound 20-fret rosewood fingerboard,
large pearl diamond inlays, 1-3/4" nut width
25.4" scale, rosewood bridge,
tortoise plastic pickguard,
cream-bound body,
wood fiber rosette and top & back trim,
w-b-w-bound headstock,
gold tuners,
guitar action is a tad too high. (maybe can ask your local luthier to set it up for you). plus could benefit from a fret level.
had nicks here and there.
the solid top has definitely matured and its got a sweet rounded tone. test it to believe.
had purchased this with plans to restore it but i have lots of stuff to bring back, i can no longer accommodate this, especially that it doesnt have a hardcase for me to fly it overseas.
thus selling at $200 o.b.o.
