Had a Monte allum Mod Tubescreamer which could do some really crunchy stuff.
Hence,After reading much review on the distX - was tempting to get the pedal for heavy metal and some really rock stuff...


Just out of curious to try out the dist of the dual and distX.

I was totally amaze but the array of tone the dual can produce.
I m not trying to compare to my Tubescreamer - WHich is an awesome pedal -
the dist from the Dual really had lot of colour and it really beat my ex - tone bone tri mode- the tone bone imo just too thin,
The Blackstar pedal (both DistX and dual) just have more of the something which i had been looking for... some with you only can find in a 100watt monster..
- will have more review once i have the time to play around with it

As for the DistX - it really can produce the 5150 sound -- if you really into high gain this is the pedal - it got the high gain but with out the muddy or the edge -just pure smooth dist,

got it at woodworkz - excelsior - near to "davis store room"

Be warn - dont try the mini stack combo - it a evil combo which produce wicked sound.....

got it for 299 nett...
better get it before the promotion over....
