hiya, good vox. but few pointers, take it in the right spirit, its meant to help you.
1. stand further from the mic (try 6 inches for starters). ur signal too hot. clipping. so, the recording is not clear. get a pop filter, and try positioning the mic in the center of the room. if u have some software compressor, it will help. with eq, cut maybe 2-3db at 200hz, might help clear up the muddiness. mic positioning is important, u need to find ur sweet spot in ur room or wherever u r recording. what mic did u get btw?
2. too many rubatos? dunno what u call it, erm, the wavering of ur voice as per the modern singers, it has to be tastefully done, not at every opportunity u get.
3. pitching is off at several points. but then, undertsandably, it ain't an easy piece especially without accompaniment.
4. open ur mouth a little more especially for a song like this. u sound like u r swallowing ur words. imagine a hot potato at the back of ur throat...

5. try again, and post it up again. don't be afraid. u will improve over time. u have the voice, just need a little mic technique. alot of potential imho.
cheers
