New amp. What to buy?!

Its 12.00AM time to make this thread.

Im looking for a new amp since my old line6 spider 3 15watt is sounding very bad, and even worse when i have my mfx into it. Im looking for a tube amp cus i heard, when using mfx its best to have tube amps for better tone and stuff..
i usually play alot of metal and its sub-genres, i dont gig at all atm, mayb l8r when get a band going. so its just gonna be a practice amp to play at home in my room, price range probably, $700 max(i know tube amps expensive)

Ive seen the blackstar ht-5 combo. any good? seems good for the price($645? if im not wrong) . if u guys have any other suggestions or feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

thinking of getting 1 soon.
portable + loud can bring out is a good point, but must be suitable for bedroom too

lunchbox is 465.

nite train head is around 600+ to 700
need cab also so may be out of ts's budget ?

nite train sound good for me because i love harleys haha

Well, Line 6 are known to be not quite pedal friendly. For me a good solid state amp which is pedal friendly is the Vox Pathfinder 15R which I don't think is an upgrade from your current Line 6.
