New amp by Carvin

If u dont already know abt it, Carvin is releasing a new 3 channel high gain amp called V3... Its supposed to rival the Mesa n Diezel amps. Its however much cheaper than them, but not lacking in terms of quality!!! List USD$899, compare that to the other high gain amps in the mkt... CHEAP

Some of the features r wattage switchable between 100 n 50, 6L6GC n El34, efx loops for indivdual channels(If im not wrong), n midi compatible. Also has a line out with cab voicing for recording. Not sure if they can switchable impedance, so matching a cab wont be a pain...

Hope that Ranking Sports will bring it in, or at least make orders available.

Nice. Hope they bring in some ashdown guit amps too. Anyway, the UK made ashdown are rebranded as Hayden if anyone is interested.

Ashdown engineers are the people who made Trace Elliot before they got bought over by Gibson.

I am eagerly awaiting the ashdown guitar amplifiers. Any idea if they gonna bring them in? I emailed them and got some funny answer, think I gotta make a trip down personally to ask someday.

I read on the Carvin forum that there is a clean channel, a hotrodded legacy channel, n a high gain with excess left over channel... They also have the scoop mids switch for the Nu-metal guys yeah...

The led looks blinding man... something like a Diezel.

Hope it stays below S$2000 for the head. A gd guide at ranking is supposed to be the Carvin website price X2 +/-, thats what they said.

Based on looks, I rate it very highly. Wonder how does the cab sound. 8)
