Why are these so expensive in Singapore? It goes for 265USD from Amazon in the US and I don't think it costs more than 260SGD to ship or forward this from the US. True, Sinamex price for EWI USB is 650SGD, but why the big difference?

I know there are online places which are cheaper, it's just a risk. I once ordered a korg nanopad and nanokey from amazon and when it came, one of the keys on the nanokeys fell off and only 2 of the pads were working. They did offer refunds, but I had to incur the shipping back to them which was not worth it for me.

Well yes, there are risks. But for the kind of price difference I am looking at I can afford to ship more than twice. (or with a case). We probably do pay more for security but IMO at that amount it doesn't really seem to be worth the extra cost. I'm just quite frustrated with how the EWI prices are so high from the distributor here.

Well u have to take note that they also do have expensive shop rentals to pay.
Plus how many of such unique instruments get sold in Singapore?

But then again, it should be within a reasonable price...instead of charging it so damn
high.
