Dear All,

Need your kind advice on a current problem that i have.

Dont know why that i would need to turn my volume to max in order to have any sound and the tone knob doesnt works anymore.

it started with a lot of buzzing initially and it suddenly result in my current situation.

i thought it was my cable, but after changing 3 cables, its still the same.

is it my pickup having problem, that i need to replace?

if you didn't used to have this problem before, it's most probably due to faulty potentiometers (pots, the thingys below your volume and tone plastic knobs). when you turn the knobs do you hear a lot of crackles through your amp?

I am using headphones jackng into the bass effect..

it should be the guitar.

btw, i am using the Fender Precision Bass..

intially, i do hear a lot of buzzing sounds....but eventually, it went away...

then, i got to turn the volume to full blast in order to have any sound...

i reckon faulty pots are the cause. might be contact problems with the soldering of the electronics too but it's hard to tell unless somebody who's experienced takes a look at it. if you live in the east, you could visit beez at roxy square 2 to fix that for you.

if not, most guitar shops in excelsior / peninsula hotels basement will do it. (SV, zen, tymc, davis)
