the guy using fender tele, is that his actual playing? of his juz plainly acting and steve vai is playing it instread? ( btw this is a movie). he didnt use a pick 0.0, the way he use, izzit those spanish playing?

i once tried searching 4 steve vai in a p2p thingy n this movie called crossroads appeared...i downloaded PART of it...i think longer than the link u posted...

well if it's a movie right,got possibility tt a tape is being played while the actors r acting...

nope, not that kid's actual playing. It was actually vai who recorded both the kid and his own part. The piece that the kid played is actually "Eugene's Trick Bag", can find the tabs :wink:

No, the kid is not playing... he went for a couple of mths under some guitar teacher to learn how to fake effectively, for this movie.

Haha, is that why they had to speed up the video for the middle portion of the song? Though when you juxtapose Vai's playing and the boy's playing, it's very clear that the video was sped up, considering that there's a fluidity in Vai's playing while the boy plays very jerkily and...............

if you notice the way his jacket trembles, you'll notice that it's going way too fast. I think they sped up the video like two times at least.

yes, this movie is called "crossroad" ... it's an old movie many years ago .... about a kid that wanted to sell his soul to the devil and b somebody playing guitar ... :lol:
