Need help

Hi , can anyone out there recommend someone who can fix up a lipstick pickup to my Strat guitar?

i think the sizes are different. the tele lipsticks are for the tele with less string space in between. u might not want to do that for this reason.

NOTE: there're some types of lipstick units, here're just 2 of them:

Tele-type lipstick. otherwise known as the covered neck tele pickup. purists will shoot you down if you refer to these as 'lipsticks', the real lipstick is...

...this one. note the 2 encasements combined to form a single unit.

Yep, the size is gonna be different, thats why i need help on this one. So which is a better one? The tele-type or the 'real' lipstick type? Anyone done this before? How's the guitar sound after that?

i don't have it in my guitars but i've tried a Danelectro which has these as default. IMO they sound brighter, less nasal compared to the tele type units.
