Need help with Clean Boosters!

My ears tell me both are equally clean when you A/B them with a clean amp. After all, they're +20dB boosts with no tone circuit. That being said, "clean" boosts in an overdriven circuit tend to fatten the lows and sweeten the highs as a result of interaction between the other pedals in your rig. There's also a difference if your amp is at breaking point or over the edge when you engage the boost.

When placed in a pedalboard with overdrives, I prefer the resulting tone from the Spark.

+1.

Also, when comparing clean boosts, especially at high volume, consider the Fletcher-Munson effect before deciding.

wow! That really helped alot!

If I'm playing lines on my acoustic, these boosters will also be okay to use right? haha

Off course, the RC Booster by Xotic Effects. The RC Booster offers a super transparent 20db+ clean boost and a +- 15db 2 band active EQ without ever compromising the integrity of the original TONE. And yes, I tried many others but this one does not go very loud at little adjustments.

The Scott Henderson's choice - you can't go wrong with it.

Technically, yeap! It will sound less acoustic and more electric though. These pedals are voiced with electric EQ in mind.
