What are some of the considerations I need to take when choosing a MIDI controller (keyboard)?
Assuming that my budget is around 200 bucks, what are some of the recommended models? (Both 37/61 keys would be fine)
Also, would most MIDI controllers be able to connect to the iPhone and use third party apps? (such as IK Multimedia's Sample Tank or Korg's Legacy Collection) If yes, what peripheral cables/connectors would I need?
I took a look at the iRig keys and Korg's Microkey, and they both seem pretty decent, price-wise and functionality. Any comments or criticisms about these units?
