Need help in choosing amps!

randall handsdown .lowend marshall cant be compared to the higher end tube series which carry the brand replutation .

Hey, im looking for a new amp too and have been testing diff brands/models at various shops. The Microstack OWNS imho for home-use/practice but definitely not suitable for gigs. Good cleans/OD & accept pedals relatively well. Im not sure about 30w Randall but the 15w that i tried before sucked. Do consider the Vox AD30vt/50 and Roland cube-30x as well. Both have really good distinctive cleans but the dist/modelling effects are mediocre IMHO. If you really heavily on pedals for your dist/modulations, you definitely must check out the Epi Valve Jr. Head+Cab. Seriously worth the money your paying for. The cleans is awesome IMO and it takes on pedals very well. Cant wait to get it during the sweelee sale.

Whats the different between Stacked 15watts which is 1 Head and 2 speaker compare to a 30watts? The 15watts stacked must well they straight away make a 30watts one why wanna make two 15watts.

yup, my cousin is lending me his MFO thingy. If the amp is gone, ill go across the causeway and get it. The head+cab price there is about 20-40SGD more den US price. I wont say where exactly that music shop is located though. kekekekeke...

+1 to the randall. I however do like the ZW stack. I feel its a good amp for its price especially if ur a high-gain lover.
