Need recommendation for average acoustic guitar.
I have a limited budget of 250 buck.
What are the options i have ?
HELLLLLPPPP.......

maestro guitar huh ? looks great, i take it into my consideration. Their webby doesnt list the price leh, btw. anywae i go check it out sometime soon. thks guys.

any other recommendation ?

Epiphone PR-4E. there is one brand new and one used piece at Guitar Connection now. not only does it sound great, it also has a build in preamp for you to plug it into an amp and play. most importantly, its definitely within your budget.

check http://www.epiphone.com/ for the specs and stuff.

where is this guitar connection shop ? i cant find it on the web leh. the one i found is some oversea shop. I seen the product on the web, not bad a package for its price.

You might also want to try out a Samick. They're cheap but real nice, and sound great. I know because I have one. But get one of the Greg Bennetts... They're very much improved.

Well, you could buy cheap brands e.g TGM... :D

It's about taking care of the guitar quality rather than finding a quality one... :-) My 2 cents worth....

i would suggest u get maestro from maestro, or top of the line fina's from davis...

usually for acoustics, there're a load of junk out there under $500. if u need a good one, these 2 give fairly good quality... but make sure u benchmark ANY guitars in that price range with a maestro 1st...

i would dare to say its the highest price : quality ratio at those price ranges u are asking for

Maestro, Fina, Epiphone PR4E and Cort. These 4 are the ones i have personally found to be bang for buck. Cort and Epiphone can be found at Swee Lee while Fina and Maestro at Peninsula Plaza, Maestro has its own shop while Fina is sold at Davis. Alternatively, u cld go to LutherMusic, also at Peninsula. They have friendly staff who can help u find a value guitar at that price range.
