neck problem?

last night before i slept, i forgot my guitar was under my blanket and i sat or the neck joint area. i heard a slight "shhhhhhhhshoorr" sound like when u strech balsa wood apart but not loud cracking or visible cracks. worst still its an sg. anyway am i screwed? i try playing it and the sound didnt sound rite, dont know if its psychological or wat..

gibson products aint that fragile... unless you sat on the pickups... other than that nothings wrong...

hmm hav u check the neck pockets?

check the back, where the joint is. and check the sides. crack will occur at the sides. most of the time that is.


i sat my lp last time, epiphone, one deeeep crack. but still playable.
