Neck bind question.

I got a couple of questions regard 'neck bind', well im not sure if its called that. But on to the point.
I have a BC Rich Beast V NT guitar Signed by Kerry king (#80) and this guitar means a lot to me.
I found a cut at the side inlays and was wondering if I could use GuitarScratchRemover on that finish.
I heard GuitarScratchRemover only works on glossy area and I think that area is a glossy one? I'm not sure
so I wanted to clarify before doing something that might make it even worst.

Pics of scratched area:

The cuts also go through the neck area but just unable to see due to the gun metal finish.

Pics of how the Finished area looks:

Hopefully you can see the finish as iphone camera isn't all that good.
I understand cuts and stuff give personality to the guitar but I prefer my guitar looking like when I first bought it
because I am not always able to just go out and buy or collect guitars and I am only limited to 2 guitars at home.
(Room is too small). So I always try to keep the guitar in good condition so it last long.

Thanks!

Please help!

the guitar stratch remover is probably only meant for the painted finish of the guitar body for really fine scars

i dont think you can do much to remove the scar since its wood with open pores

just leave it as it is if it doesnt affect your playing

if you are really really interested in repairing the scar though, perhaps you can try to use a little wood epoxy/glue on a cotton bud to fill up the gap and then use brown felt pens to blend the scar into the wood.

Can i use it on the neck which is painted as it is neck thru? The cut goes into the the neck area as well.

actually looking at the pictures again it seems like the part on the wood which is scarred also has some lacquer finish on it

you should be able to polish out the stratch in the gum metal portion. if it works great then maybe u can see if it works on the wood area oso.
