Neck action

Hi there

I have a Yamaha FG422. I haven't been playing it for years.

The other day, I took it out and had a go. I think that the neck action is too high.

How much will it cost me to have the neck set up properly? And if I get it fixed, should I bring it to the Esplanade branch or Exclesior branch?

There could be many reasons why the neck action is high. I would need to look at the guitar before I can assess the problem. Thankfully, most cases of high action just require a tweak of the truss rod and lowering of the saddle, i.e just an overall setup. You can drop off the guitar at either the Excelsior or Esplanade branch. Thanks for the enquiry.
