Hey guys. Was looking at this vintage Navigator Esparto the other day at guitar 77. Was just wondering if anyone out there has this guitar. Mind sharing your opinions about the guitar ?? Reviewing it if possible ? I'd really love to hear about it. I mean i've tried it. But i do feel a need to hear from someone who's been using the guitar for a little longer.

If you like the feel and sound, get it.
It's probably gonna cost a bomb though. Navigator's the highest end of ESP guitars, easily 3 grand.

It was going at 1k at guitar 77. I've compared it to a fender and i think they sound pretty much similar. I mean i can't really tell subtle differences in terms of the sound considering that im a layman. But i think they sound similar ? Just seeking your opinion guys. I'm going into funk, rock and metal. I intend to get the esparto cause it looks cool and sounds good. You think it's a good choice ? Or are there possibly guitars out there with similar prices but are better suited ?! Go easy on me. Newb.

If you like it, get it. You may not find a guitar that you like anytime soon.
That being said, the Fender Strat is one of the most versatile guitars around imo.
And there's one going for 450 in buy/sell. I can't recommend one over the other, as i haven't played the Navigator before.

Firstly you have to be sure if it suits your genre.

Test it out extensively and hear it in drive and clean, etc, etc before making the purchase. Check for fretwear and etc. think of resale value as well... don't make a purchase you regret because you are too hyped over the fact that its vintage, rare, etc.
it happens.
after the honeymood period you realise it is not the guitar for you. so there, just be very sure of your purchase. i'd recommend doing more research first
