what's the better wood?

I vote NATO because it's a lower-cost grade of mahogany, so it probably has better tonal properties than Agathis. Besides, Maestro uses NATO for its necks exclusively. From my experience it's a nice sounding wood though for acoustic guitars the volume is a little soft.

Usually at the price range of those guitars using the above two woods, it doesn't matter. The construction of the guitar and the type of neck joint is more important.
