thanks for the advice. im singing it in Bm, which is already higher than the original, Am.

i have this really weird thing in my mind, everytime i sing to myself while recording, i feel that i sound great. but when i play the recording i sound bad and monotonous. :?

Scuderia, I think you sounded good. Got soul in that voice, I didn't find it monotonous. You mentioned you've raised the pitch? Well, maybe you can try singing one octave higher than the guitar's pitch and see how that sounds like. Just a suggestion I'm no expert hah.

Wow.. Although frankly that was really low, but it's quite cool tehcnically that you can go so low. I meant that as a compliment not a sarcastic remark man, cos I don't think I can sing that low. Now if you try singing the higher pitches, while keep practising the lower pitches, I think you'll have a great range. Don't give up man.

i have a feeling it's my mic. it's just a hole in my laptop by the way. because when i listen to myself while singing i sound fine, not too low.

but it may be my hearing though.

its not mic bro.. it doesnt come into play.. mics may change tonal qualities of the voice.. but not pitching..
