My new carved top strat

Hi ho, here's pix of my latest project. This is NOT, I REPEAT NOT AN ORIGINAL FENDER GUITAR BUT MOST OF THE PARTS ON IT ARE FENDER PRODUCTS.

So without further further ado .. I present: THE FGL FLORAL CARVED TOP STRAT!

HEADSTOCK - BOOTLEG FENDER DECAL. Nut is a tusq, custom cut fitted for perfect height.

bootleg custom shop decal on back of headstock. Tuners are not conventional klusons but protones USA retro fits. The top portion are screw in type rather than the conventional press in type bushing.

Pick ups are ORIGINAL FENDER USA VINTAGE NOISELESS STRAT SET X 3

TREM COVER & ELECTRONICS COVER ARE SOLID EBONY - CUSTOM DESIGNED & BUILT BY AN INDIAN LUTHIER WHO SPECIALIZES IN HIGH END VIOLIN TAIL PIECES. i MANAGED TO SIKO HIM INOT CUTTING A SET FOR ME.

ELECTRONIC COVER OFF - CTC LONG SHAFT POTS X 2 AND TBX POT X 1.

Nope - that red body at Dans is his .. this piece is 100% all mine - done up at home ... It wil make it's debut at the Blewraincoats's gig on 11 June 08

Thanks ppl - justa bit of back ground knowkledge - the BODY ONLY used to belong to RIKI HENDRIX (JIMI'S COUSIN) BUT HE SOLD ITTO DAN AND I RAGGED HIM ENDLESSLY FOR ALMOST A YEAR BEFORE HE FINALLY GAVE IN & SOLD IT TO ME. IT DOES BEAR SOME "SCARS" WHICH CANNOT BE SEEN IN PIX. INSTEAD OF REFINISHING THEM, I OPTED FOR A MINOR "RELIC" LOOK FOR A PLAYED IN APPERANCE.

THE GUITAR PLAYS & SOUNDS LIKE A DREAM .... I AM 100% CONFIRMED NOT SELLING THIS PIECE.
