I performed a drum solo at victoria concert hall in december 06 with my alumni symphonic band.
It consists mainly of a few grooves threaded together, made use of a couple of paraddidles, but the hard part really was threading it all together such that it would appear to be coherent.
The biggest problem with it is that it is very structured, mostly 4/4 timing played over 2 bars or 4 bars. Dont know how to come up with one breaking out of the structure like tony royster junior.
