ditto!

be prepared to wait like 2-3 weeks in any case, while musicians friend is very efficient (they process then send out ur package the next day, even with a UPS tracking number) vpost takes a bit more time - im still waiting for them to process my matched orders before i can actually ship it back, which will take about another week or so

I buy from Musicians Friend a lot

I've bought quite a bit from Musicians Friend and they really have pretty good prices.
Check in constantly on their websites, they often have crazy sales and discounts and clearances and all. But you have to be quick. Check out their "Stupid Deal of the Day" specials.

Has anyone bought from this online store before? They seem to have very good prices.

like for example,if u wanna buy something for 499usd, how much do u pay in total for everything?

maybe u can give us an example of what u've bought, ur experiences, like waiting time, and stuff like that..
i wanna know more..

I'm more interested invpost shipping i mean even after the huge discounts at musician's friend is it worthgetting it from there even after shippng? i never used vpost before so i'm not sure how much i would be paying...

hmmm does anyone know avg how much it'll cost for vpost shipping to SG, for let's say an electric guitar? D:

I'm not familiar with recent vpost charges, but they were pretty dear. Citibank has a concierge service called comgateway or something like that with really attractive rates. But I don't know much about it so I shall not say anymore.

Just know that there are other options out there. Go search and ask from people who frequently bring in more stuff from the USA like clothes, books or designer goods.

I brought in my drum kit from them but it took a really long time. Vpost took some time to make sure all my stuff got through so I had a good discount in the end. The prices are lower but you must factor in current exchange rate, weight/dimensions of your parcel (that's how Vpost calculate charges) and lastly warranty. Last thing you'd want is to have to send your product back to USA for repairs which are under warranty. Also for amps and electronic stuff, you'd have to factor in the difference in power requirements and difference in plugs! Hope this helps dude! Happy shopping! hahaha!

Vpost is alright, but their service and shipping tends to be slower than other forwarders like comgateway or borderlinx (citibank cards only). It took 10 days for Vpost to reflect that my package had arrived at their US location, but Borderlinx can update in a working day, plus they have 24 hour online chat support.

ALso, 10% off Vpost shipping if you have UOB card.

i have seen this website before.. so... in all.. can i say tt if u order a drumset frm this website.. it will be cheaper than buying frm sg? currently wat is the exchange rate like?
