Multi EFX vs Single EFX

Some mutlieffects cannot produce the "realness" of some stand alones single padels. And also, if the multieffect is spoilt which also means you wont have access to all those effects oso, singles are more versatile.

I think this is an issue that most guitarist face.
Especially broke ones like me
Well basically with single pedals efx you can the
ability to tweak your pedals while multiefx to a
certain limitation.
Single pedals efx tend to cost more than multiefx
as you got to get different pedals for modulation,
delay etc.
From my point of view if you are a beginner get a
multiefx(especially when citymusic is having a sale
right now    ) from there you can roughly
know what efx you need.
Lastly its all a matter of preference!
Anyway its no harm having both single and multi efx
pedals the possibilities is endless

I think another issue with multi-FX pedals (at least the cheaper ones) is that you have to maneuver through many levels of digital menus to get the effect and setting that you want.

Only the high-end (read: expensive) multi-FX pedals give you easier selection and tweaking controls via the traditional nobs and swithces of single-effect stompboxes.

So IF you intend to gig or anything, you'd want something easier to control on stage.

i went full circle: no FX-> pedals-> multi FX-> no FX  nothing beats the tone of a plug-&-play setting, especially if you've found a good amp for your needs.
