My Creative Muvo died on me :( so I'm intending to get a new mp3 player. I want a mp3 player with kick ass sound quality. So fellow softies, which one should I get ? :D

Erm, a good pair of earphones or headphones will do much more to sound quality than a mp3 player.
So yeah, I guess you could get any taiwan brandless mp3 player.
Or a creative one again.

i swear creative products are of pretty bad quality. (ok it's a bias statement) my muvo split apart after dropping once and when i went back to creative, they insisted that their products have gone through tests whereby they are dropped like from 2 levels above ground. right. and they dont split apart. and then when they returned my muvo to me, the battery cover lost a part, and now i need to scotchtape it to the back. and currently, my muvo's programme is abit screwed up because when i try to access menu, i only reach the skip folder option, and i cant even exit it, unless i turn the damn player off and on again or hold on to the menu thingy for awhile. grr. im getting apple stuff next time.

Got check if the warranty still applies?

Well I bought my Muvo in Feb this year and it's been working perfectly ever since disregarding the wordings and barcode on the player which have been faded away.

Other than that , it works perfectly fine for me....

Not to mention that I've dropped it a couple of times and nothing has gone wrong with it....

ok, im just unlucky. ahaha but creative muvo right, if u do go back to creative and if they do ask u to buy a new one for 50 bucks. i suggest u dont. even the creative forum has people complaining about it's quality.

My friend got the new iPod g5 (plays video) for $540. such a sexy little thing. his is black and 30gb.

Battery isnt the best but it is def good quality playback and the size is rgeat. its pretty thin. I want one.

My muvo dropped like fifty times and finally it died. I guess I'll get an Ipod, I've used it a few times and I kinda like the sound.

anyway creative's smart. if the glitch is fixable, they'll try their best to fix it. it's not so easy to get a new one free. and they can argue about the glitch being self-inflicted. like dropping from high levels, and due to human mismanagement, and during tt case, they'll make u buy a new one for a discounted price. which isnt feasible since their products arent reliable why wld i spend 50 bucks on another unreliable one. they dont even offer to let u buy a different model or sth. grr.
