At 11pm on a Friday night, old school heavy metal/hard rock classics drifts out of House of Rock. However, unlike the usual mix of Iron Maiden, Skid Row, Steelheart and other hard rock music, this was a special gig and a night to remember for all true Dio fans. Ministry of Rock's tribute gig to Ronnie James Dio.

haha i think it wasnt really publicised besides by MOR themselves on facebook, thats why not a lot of people knew of this special night.

despite that, when i turned up at around 11 there was hardly any space left, even standing space was very limited. and the crowd stayed on till around 2.45am when the whole set ended. its one of the few nights when you really see lots of horns in the air, really touching scene, and an apt tribute to the voice of heavy metal.

still, really want to go back there to catch MOR again (even if its not an all-Dio night). the only thing that is holding me back are the prices of the drinks really.
