no bro, they aren't 'better' per se, same tone performance in my opinion.

Do you think this little amp would be as loud as an acoustic guitar around the camp fire?

it could be as loud but do note that there'll be buzzing if volume is cranked up + you strum hard/ when the battery is down...

Get a Vox Mini 3 if you want something portable with a good tone.
