Mild feedback

Just got my gibson les paul studio. After few hours of playing i discovered some weird thing! When my guitar is tuned to drop D and when i do fast palm muting theres mild feedback coming from my amp. I tried using my other guitar and it was alright. Any idea wad had happened?

When i do the exact same thing in standard tuning everything is fine... surprisingly

are you sure its not fret buzz?

Quite sure... Its from the amp. Im not sure how to explain but its just when i play a chord and i mute it immediately there would be a sound coming out from my amp, i think its feedback. Im not too sure.. 1st time encountering such stuff..... It lasts for split second but it still irritates me!!

I dont think its my playing problem.. Cause when i play my other guitar, the muting is quite clean but when i mute on that guitar theres still this persistent sound. It only occur during Drop D and fast palm muting..

you said that when you strum a chord and after that you mute the strings right? Its probably overtones, not feedback, nothing wrong

Im not sure why only one of your guitars only, but the same thing happens to me only on one of my guitars, just mute properly i guess
