Hi guys. Ive noticed with regards to MIJ fender guitars. There are two kinds (correct me if I'm wrong). One, the MIJ label is stamped at the heel of the neck just above the serial number. The other, the MIJ label is stamped at the headstock. I read comments online people saying that by right, MIJ fenders will have the MIJ label stamped at the heel of the neck and never on the headstock. This is getting me confused. FYI i have a tele with MIJ stamped on the headstock just below the "telecaster" word.
Q1: Are japanese fenders with MIJ label stamped on the headstock not authentic?
Q2: A serial number starting with R+6digits is said on Fender's website to be CIJ. But why is a MIJ being stamped on the headstock?
Q3: Does this happen on all japanese Fenders?
Need some help in decoding this questions! Thanks for your time!
