Midi foot controller

Hi all.

I have a Sansamp PSA-1 (really old I know, but I love it to bits) and there is a growing need for me to get a MIDI foot controller to switch in between presets. As we know, the PSA-1 is a relatively simple unit - I only need a footswitch to switch between channels, nothing else more than that (which means that I do not need expression pedals on the controller).

What I'm looking for is a more compact and non-complicated MIDI footswitch that has about 4 or so buttons (can be more) for me to change channels. It would be ideal if the cost is relatively low. The size that I'm looking for is roughly about 2x2 Boss pedals put together but that's not a big issue because I'm looking at the functionality first.

What I've narrowed down is:
-Midi Moose (abit too long)
-PEAK FCB4N2 (sold out most of the time)

Question is:
- What other alternatives out there have I not explored?
- Is it possible to custom make a MIDI foot controller. If so, roughly how much will it cost? I've been thinking about this but I'm not too sure who to approach. I looked at the schematics and decided that it's too complicated for me.

Can someone with experience please point me to an appropriate direction? Much appreciated, thanks. :)

Best,
Eugene
