Hi there,
I've been messing around with various DAWs etc, for the past few years, but have only now really started to get into music production, so I'm still fairly new to all this.
Anyway, I'm looking for help in recording sounds made on a MicroKORG onto a computer. I already use the MicroKORG as a midi controller, but now I'm looking to actually record the sounds I make on them. (I know Midi doesn't record sound).
I'm aware of some methods, including plugging the MicroKORG directly into the computers sound card, or mic'ing up a cabinet speaker, however these don't appeal to me so I'm looking for another way
Is it possible to plug the audio output of the MicroKORG into an interface (say the Digidesign M-box mini), and get the sounds onto the computer using ProTools 8 LE that way? This is where it's goes beyond the realm of my knowledge, so any help/advice would be great.
Thanks alot
Fraser
