whats up guys, since we've got a few (long overdue) updates coming up i decided to do it all in here instead of spamming the forum every now and then.
first off...BAYBEATS 2009! we are beyond stoked to be the first extreme metal band to play singapore's biggest music festival! i guess all the bitchin about baybeats and its lost lambs(haha) paid off eh? we're really looking forward to razing the powerhouse stage down and seeing the biggest mosh pit in the history of singapore go off!
as you guys might have heard and seen in the last few shows..the latest addition to the Meza Virs crew is the almighty Tremor (Impiety/Cardiac Necropsy/Arbitary Element etc) replacing Tjinn on the drums. Tjinn has departed for personal reasons and we'd like to wish him all the best in his career and studies.
speaking of shows, how ridiculous was our performance at the Detriot Metal City launch at HEEREN? i'd never thought i'd see the day a metal band played in the middle of a crowded orchard road MALL..
You guys at Resurrection 2009 were great and it was an honor to share the stage with the old school bands again..Apologies to Ironfist for causing you guys to be short of one mic, and to all the guys in the crowd when i was bodysurfing: yes i am a heavy bastard. Thanks for the birthday song y'all!
I'll end off the updates for today with a final note: Meza Virs will be the featured band at OUTBREED this Friday 26th June 2009. organised by our good friends at the Singapore Dark Alternative Movement, it's going to be the biggest dark alternative event in Singapore for awhile.
I know the ticket price and the location might be a little iffy, but do come down it'll be a helluva party, and we'll be playing some special songs that we will NEVER do again. i'll even buy you guys a drink and you can hold me to that! This will be our last show until our performance at Baybeats in August so be quick or be dead!
