About me:
I'm a rock singer and lyricist from Atlanta, Georgia (USA) on a work assignment in Singapore for 2 months (and perhaps longer) looking to connect with some local musicians to jam and perform with. I have performing with in an original rock band and have song writing experience and I also enjoy performing cover songs from different genres. I have a good ear for changing chords to bring a different perspective to a familiar song. I would enjoy meeting up for some open mic sessions for any guitarists looking for a singer to perform with.
I also play guitar, but I don't like to play and sing as it impacts my performance and focus to do both. I do travel with a guitar.
My musical influences: Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys, Thrice, Alabama Shakes, Alice In Chains, Boy & Bear, Brand New, Royal Blood, STP, Mute Math, Cage the Elephant, Minus the Bear, Circa Survive, Cold War Kids, The Cult, The Dead Weather, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Kill It Kid, The Weeknd...to name a few.
I bring a lot of energy to the stage and sing with conviction, power, and honesty. I have my own style and like to engage the audience. I come with no ego or negative attitude or drama. I'm a team player and open-minded on material as long as it in my range so I can do my best in performing. I would really appreciate the opportunity.
