Hi have any one came accross a shop selling them?

Wanted to know if they were tht reliable compared to the regular lespauls, such as the ones in sv.
Can any1 tell me where the ones in sv are made from?

A review will be best!
Thanks!

Go down and test for yourself. The make of the guitar does not matter as long as you like what you hear.
p.s. Define "reliable" and "regular les pauls".

If it's epiphone, then expect it to be an epiphone quality. Nothing less and nothing more. I personally feel Indonesian made guitars are better quality compare to china and some korean. Own some indonesian ibanez-es and squier

Yup. Don't look down on Indonesian quality. Those $999 Marlique guitars that SV brings in are Indonesian made and they really feel and sound like custom shop instruments. At least to me. I've never played an electric guitar (a Gibson LP included) that felt as finely made as the Marlique.

Personally I think quality depends on the individual factory. There's a reason why MIC Ibanez are pretty well made while MIC Epiphones are badly made and still get the pass...

I think people look at the country of origin too much. The only factor that really affects quality is the stringency of the particular factory. The government of a country, and the people of that country, don't set the standards for guitar manufacture. The management of the factory does.

It simply doesn't matter where it is made. When people say it sucks because it is made somewhere, its because the manufacturer moved the production there just recently. For example epiphone used to be made in japan, then when it was moved to Korea people said it sucked. Over time the factory got better at making the guitars and now people like the ones made in Korea.

A drop in quality is mostly because the new factory needs to get used to making guitars because they're all new people working there.

Or am I wrong?

Totally. Before going to SV, I already set my mind on a swing guitar.
But I ended up getting the Marlique instead.
Never regretted it since then. haha.
