M-Audio BX5a VS KRK RP-5 Monitors

Hi guys.

Just wish to get some input from you all as I cant decide on which monitor to buy. They retail for the same price at sinamex; however I have no idea which is the better buy: the M-Audio BX5a or KRK RP-5?

Specs-wise I prefer the Bx5a's; however quality-wise KRK seems more reputable.

i think it's best if you let your ears be the judge for that choice. Go into sinamex and ask them to let you test out the monitors ... (they are nice people i'm sure)

i won't be biased to either as i have my preferences ...

i think it's best when choosing a pair of monitors to let the monitor speak to you personally, if you like what you hear, then grab it. =)

agree with exin,

juz bring a few familar pieces of music you always listen on yr mp3 player and yr home computer speakers. Go over there and do a AB comparison.

trust yr ears....

i haven't had any experience with the m-audio but i own RP-5s and they're definately decent for the price..i'd hazard to say probably the best buy in the low-mid price range. definately invest in a pair of auralex mopads or the like though.

i think esden or hung bros sell them cheaper than sinamex...
