Just started guitar like 2 months ago. Recently start to use capo as i have to sing girls song in guys key.etc but i have a song that i really want to learn for guitar and sing it at the same time but i need to minus 1 key for the song as i can't hit the note and capo can't lower the key. This is a guy version of the song by the way.

Down tune the guitar? if the strings are too floppy change to a higher gauge.

either that or do bar chords.

Yeah Down drop the tuning by a step.. it should work

Capo only makes the key higher. Tune your guitar a step down or something.
