Hi! I'm an 18 year old guy who just finished his A-levels in a JC, and I'm thinking of forming a band to play together, or maybe even perform sometimes.
A bit about me, I have been playing guitar for slightly over 7 years now, but I tend to play more rhythm parts. My musical influences are mainly emo pop punk like early Paramore, All Time Low, My Chemical Romance etc, but I also like to listen to various other genres ranging from indie to alt rock to metalcore, from bands like Softcult, Anavae, Linkin Park, The Warning and so on. I have songwriting experience, and I previously played in a mandopop / blues / jazz / funk-ish band for a few years and grew tired of those styles, so I'm planning on finding like-minded people in music, and playing songs I genuinely enjoy
For the band, it would be great to find a:
- singer
- drummer
- bassist
- 2nd guitarist (not a must but a welcome addition)
It would also be best if we're all around ages 17 - 20 so it would be easier to communicate and arrange rehearsals and stuff
